What We Offer
Compassionate, trauma-informed counseling for individuals seeking a safe space to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves — blending clinical training with grounded emotional wellness tools.

One-on-one therapy in a warm, grounded space to process what you are carrying, understand yourself more deeply, and build tools for healing and emotional regulation.

A compassionate approach that recognizes how painful or overwhelming experiences can impact the mind, body, relationships, self-worth, and sense of safety.

Therapy informed by EMDR training — including resourcing, grounding, and trauma-focused support — to help you process distressing experiences in a safe, structured way.

Support that helps you understand how stress, anxiety, and overwhelm show up in the body, with grounding skills, breathwork, and practices that build steadiness.

Expressive and art-based therapeutic activities that help explore emotions, identity, and inner experiences in ways that go beyond traditional talk therapy.

Practical, research-supported approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, emotional regulation, self-compassion practices, and parts-informed work.

Support for clients who feel pulled in different directions internally — one part wanting change while another part feels afraid, protective, angry, or numb.

A compassionate space for navigating loss, uncertainty, major changes, emotional exhaustion, identity shifts, or the quiet ache of not feeling like yourself.

Clear, non-shaming language for what is happening inside of you — tools and practices you can carry into everyday life outside of session.

Meet the Founder
I created Gentle Ground Therapy from a deep belief that people deserve a place where they can be fully human without judgment.
My work is shaped by years of experience walking alongside individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
I am especially passionate about helping clients who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, grieving, or stuck in survival mode begin to find steadiness again.
What drives me is the belief that healing can be gentle and still be powerful.
I bring warmth, compassion, honesty, and practical emotional wellness tools into the therapy space, helping clients slow down, understand their inner world, and reconnect with themselves one grounded step at a time.
At the heart of my work is a simple hope: that every person who enters Gentle Ground Therapy feels seen, supported, and reminded that they do not have to carry everything alone.

Kind Words
Reflections from people who have shared this work — quiet, honest, and in their own words.
Jennifer created a space where I finally felt safe enough to slow down and actually listen to myself. For the first time in years, my anxiety has somewhere to land.

The somatic work helped me understand grief in a way talk therapy alone never could. I leave each session feeling more grounded in my own body.

Rachel T.

Going through a big life transition felt impossible until I started working with Jennifer. The tools she shares are gentle, practical, and they actually stay with me between sessions.
